I’m also not accusing them of not caring for their families. Absolutely not! I want to emphasize that there is a lot of wisdom in SOME of the old ways…I’m not saying your grandmother or aunt or whoever was dumb. Sometimes people accuse me of canning safety overkill.
Sometimes that gets me in a position to not agree with the “old” ways. On Simply Canning, I always emphasize canning safety and current methods for home canning.
